K23 Patchouli Quest
Notes: Patchouli, frankincense, myrrh, moss.
Description: Patchouli and frankincense weave with myrrh’s sacred hum, grounded by moss, a mystic’s quest through an ancient grove.
In Jitterbug Perfume, the novel by Tom Robbins, Kudra and Alobar discover the secret of immortality through their adventures across centuries. Alobar creates a perfume called K23 using trace amounts of beet pollen extract, hoping to reunite with Kudra in the New World. However, an indignant Pan throws the remaining K23 overboard during their journey. Kudra’s scents ALSO play a significant role in their story, though it’s not explicitly the same as the K23 perfume.

Alobar’s K23 Perfume, as discovered through careful consideration of the text, contains:
Amber, Bergamot, Blackberry, Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Clove Bud, East Indian Patchouli, Frankincense, Grandiflorum Jasmine, Labdanum, Lemon, Musk, Patchouli, Pimento Berry and
Siam Benzoin.
I've interpreted these fictitious fragrance notes and more into the most complex and beautiful fragrance I think I have ever created. I am so excited to finally have a proprietary formulation for K23 (V2) - available now while supplies last. Then, this very small (8 oz) blend I have made will be gone, and we will mix up another, slightly different, batch. As of 9.1.24 we are on batch/version 2.
I draw inspiration from the fragrance in the book while interpreting my own versions with notes of beetroot, incense, rain, sandalwood, amber, jasmine, honey, petrichor, vintage vaulted patchouli, cedar, saffron, red ginger, frankincense and myrrh, nag champa, egyptian amber, fresh cut grass, moss, santal, creamy nutmeg, and more.
