Many scents are finishing their aging or infusion cycles when you order. I don't keep large inventories of pre-made product because these preparations are time-sensitive and small-batch by design.

A: I work with both natural botanicals and select aromachemicals, but what makes Jitterbug unique isn't purity politics—it's process. I use brewing and apothecary techniques that commercial perfumery can't accommodate.

A: Because you're getting a botanical preparation, not a synthetic formula. Color, texture, and even slight scent evolution are natural results of the aging, steeping, and maceration processes I use. Think of it like wine vintages or small-batch beer—variation is the signature of real craft.

Choose from our exquisite selection of two bases to enhance your fragrance experience:

• Dry Oil is my proprietary blend of MCT, coconut, grapeseed, avocado, sunflower, rice bran, almond and apricot base carrier oil. Ideal for a rich, nourishing feel with prolonged scent longevity.

• Aura & Spirit Spray perfume base is standard, and is my proprietary hybrid of a humectant coupled with boutique perfumers’ alcohol base.

  It is safe for hair, air, aura and skin! Perfect for those seeking more projection and vibrant top notes. Due to its faster evaporation, deeper notes emerge later. For a light, airy application that feels refreshing and weightless. This is the “default” base.

For the best of both worlds, try layering the coconut oil base with the aura mist or alcohol base.

Remember, the bases can subtly alter the scent profile:

• Oil Base: Enhances deeper, richer base notes and develops beautifully over time.

• Aura Mist: Humectant, safe for you, your hair, your pillow, your blankie, your dog’s cutie patooty booty, your kitten’s backside, the air, and everything in between. Long lasting, soft, moisturizing.

• Alcohol Base: Accentuates lighter, fresher top notes and allows deeper notes to follow.
